The “glamping” tents and the “pod” that you may have heard so much about, or seen on www.omesweetome.com, are not available during The Gathering.

We want you to experience every second of The Gathering and to do that, you need somewhere to sleep. That’s why we want to do what we can to make you comfortable, and make sure you’re taken care of in every way.

Local Camping

Pack your tent, your sleeping bags, a couple air mattresses and some homemade quilts and set up camp on the beautiful green grass in Perry’s Cove, aka, Tent City. With a beautiful view of the ocean, Tent City is the perfect place to get back to the elements. Park your car and walk to the breathtaking clearing that overlooks Burlington Harbour. Take time to explore your surroundings, walk the trails, dip in the brook, and get refreshed in the waterfall.

This is a walk-in, walk-out site. Please be mindful of your neighbours, and residential property. Everything that goes into Tent City, must come back out of Tent City.

Where is Tent City?

For anyone camping during the Gathering, here is a reference to where Tent City is in relation to the Gathering Grounds. Camping will be in ‘Winterhouse Cove’ while The Gathering Grounds is located on ‘Old Church Road’ off Bridge Street. We will have shuttles throughout the day but if you have a bike, that works too or better yet, stick out your thumb and meet a local!

RV Parking

Are you bringing a trailer, camper, RV, or some other type of vehicle to stay in? Vehicles aren’t permitted to park on the campground, but we’re willing to arrange a place for you to put your rig if you so desire. These spaces would be throughout the community and within a short to moderate distance of The Gathering Grounds. Due to limited availability, we cannot guarantee where your space will be, or what services you’ll receive. We try our best to accommodate wherever we can. This process is by application.
